NEW ESCALATORS TO IMPROVE PUBLIC ACCESS LINKS FOR HIGH STREET

this is a postcard sketch for an idea to install external escalators with a covered canopy at the existing steps and ramp link in Bell Wynd which links the Postings Shopping Centre with the High Street. Improvements really need to happen at this critical junction as the existing condition is very poor indeed. As a reference point a similar installation has just been completed in Edinburgh at The Waverly Steps. Check it out !
