POP UP SHOP UNDER CAR PARK RAMP
POP -UP RETAIL UNIT or EVENTS SPACE
This is an interesting space. I love it ! It is a real transitional space as it is used by pedestrians to access through the Postings Shopping Centre from Hunter Street to the High Street. It is even an accessible space for disabled people as the levels are ramped and there are now automated doors to entry and exit points in the shopping centre. The space is quite dramatic as the car traffic ramp to the rooftop carpark slopes above the area. It is a natural amphitheatre, which could be used for communal actibvity such as music and theatrical performances and potentially a outdoor cinema event. My next POSTCARD will show the POP -UP SHOP IDEA.
It could be developed, using dramatic lighting installations into an attractive public space
